The Work of Heart selection for May goes to Ms. Curts. Ms. Curts currently serves as administrative assistant to the principal. She serves also as the coordinator for CCD. She organizes religious instruction for all the children in the parish who do not attend St. Philip School. In the past, Ms. Curts has served as director for the Day Care, administering the preschool and day care programs for all children from 2 1/2 years old through 8th grade. She has also taught Spanish and Art to school children to enrich their learning. All three of Ms. Curts children completed 8 years at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School. Two of her children, Ashly and Candace, graduated from Bishop Lynch High School. Students, parents, and teachers express how much they enjoy Ms. Curts friendly, kind, helpful personality.
